Description: German horsed transport riders leaving Brussels on 21st November 1918. Mayor Max, released from prison, is cheered by the crowd. The King and Queen of Belgium make a state entry on 22nd November. The cathedral at Soissons in April 1917, showing shell damage. An extract is quoted from a captured German artillery officer's diary to the effect that the cathedral was deliberately used as an aiming point. A pan over Maubeuge, which shows some damage.
